The practice is founded and headed by Neo Eng Chuan, who is a psychologist by education and practices marital and family therapy. He works with adults, couples and families who are experiencing psychological, emotional and relationship difficulties.
Eng Chuan started his career in the Singapore Navy, and headed several human resource functions. He also served as a Defence Psychologist in Ministry of Defence and was deployed to the Northern Arabian Gulf in 2005. He headed the Counselling Branch in the SAF Counselling Centre in 2009.
He is trained in crisis and trauma intervention (under ICISF). He has experience dealing with critical incidents of different nature. These included military accidents, completed suicide (meaning the attempt was successful), and also attended to personnel with suicidal thoughts. He helps survivors cope with grief and loss, and those who are affected by trauma.
Eng Chuan received his psychology education at the Australian National University in Canberra Australia under a government study award. Later, he completed a Masters in Applied Psychology at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. He continues to develope himself professionally and is working to become a certified Emotion-Focused Therapist.
Eng Chuan is an Associate Faculty and teaches at SIM University. He is bilingual and is also able to converse in Hokkien. He is married with two children.
